A Rash of Patriotism

There is a rash of patriotism right now
Everywhere you look is red, white and blue
"United We Stand" in every window
And yet it all seems so fake
In a country based on freedom
A man in Washington says
To criticize the government is treason
How little he knows the Constitution
America says it likes how the president handles things
But how much can they really tell you
When information is withheld
Would they still approve if they knew everything?
Will they still like it when men are dying?
